What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a site to remember things between pages and between visits, such as what is in your basket. Similar technologies, including pixels and local storage, work in comparable ways, and we use the word “cookies” here to cover all of them.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These make the shop work. They remember the contents of your basket, keep you signed in to your account, keep your session secure, help detect fraudulent activity at checkout, and record your cookie preferences so that you are not asked repeatedly. These cookies are set by Shopify, the platform this store runs on, and the site cannot function without them. They do not require your consent, and they cannot be switched off.

Analytics

These help us understand how the site is used in aggregate: which pages are visited, how people move through the site, and where something is not working. We look at patterns rather than individuals, and we use this to improve the site rather than to profile you.

Marketing

These may be used to measure whether an advertisement led to a visit or an order, and to show ANTARO advertising on other platforms. They are only set after you have given consent, and never before.

Your choices

When you first visit the site you are asked which categories of cookies you are willing to accept. You can change your mind at any time by returning to the cookie preferences on this site, and you can accept the strictly necessary cookies only and still shop normally.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the basket and checkout from working, which is a limitation of how browsers work rather than a choice of ours.

How long cookies last

Some cookies last only for the length of your visit and are deleted when you close your browser. Others remain for a set period so that the site can remember you on your next visit.
